Summer 2019 Update — please consider a donation by September 10 to help with our expansion!

“I jumped between the homes of friends during some really tough times, and my living situations would end sometimes after I had paid the bills. I had nowhere to go, so I called Family Promise. I was skeptical at first, but it was a safe place for me and the boys. Once we started, we found all these churches and volunteers who cared about us and encouraged me to keep working at my goals. I just needed someone to believe in me. And now I tell other people I talk to, ‘just keep going, I believe in you.’”

-Angelica, Graduate*

This is why we keep moving forward. Thanks to your investment, guests and graduates likes Angelica are empowered every day to find hope and pass it on to others.

2018 Yearly Data

Did you know that Wichita area schools are still serving over 2500 homeless children each year? Expansion in our Rotation Program (overnight shelter) allows us to help even more!

  • In November 2018: we expanded to a capacity of six families.
  • Fall 2019: we are set to expand to eight families.

To do this, we are moving our daytime hub & offices to Family Promise Day House at St. John’s! This building near St. John’s Episcopal Church downtown is a generous ministry partnership and allows us to grow.

We also need your financial help to make these exciting changes happen. Please join us by September 10 as we empower more families in our Rotation Program AND make plans to expand our Graduate Support Program! Together we can do this!

Sincerely,

Stacia Thompson, LMSW
Executive Director
