The logo for Family Promise of Greater Wichita prominently features a star. The five points of this star represent the five core aspects of the work of Family Promise: 

1. Community: We serve families through a community based response
2. Prevention: We prevent families from losing their homes.
3. Shelter: We provide shelter to families that do not have a home. 
4. Stabilization: We offer stabilization services to families after they find housing. 
5. Promise: We promise to work until every family has a home to call their own.

The FPGW Community Star is a person or group that has supported all five points of the Family Promise star for families right here in the Wichita community. A Community Star is named each year at the annual FPGW Gala event. Without partners like these, the mission of Family Promise wouldn’t be possible.
