Family Promise of Greater Wichita is excited to welcome Corinne Horsch to the FPGW Board of Directors.
Corinne Horsch is an energetic and passionate Human Resources professional who has worked with Koch Industries for the past 11 years. She is a graduate of Kansas State University and loves learning and seeking new opportunities to grow as a leader in her field and in the Wichita community.
After learning about Family Promise from a fellow HR professional in her cohort group with The Thread, a local women’s leadership collective, Corinne researched the local Greater Wichita Affiliate and connected deeply with the mission and the work of FPGW.
“It’s an opportunity to positively impact the community. I love the element of empowerment in the work of Family Promise. It’s helping someone that really needs the help right now, with the goal of them reaching stability long term.”
Corinne brings a passion for corporate success, paired with a desire to see companies engage in doing good in their communities. “For those that don’t serve frequently with non-profits, this is a way for employees to see the impact their company has in the community. Wichita isn’t a small community, but it feels like one because we are so connected.”
FPGW Board Vice President Connor Cross, had this to say about the newest addition to the Board of Directors: “When I was introduced to Corinne through a colleague and told her more about our mission, it was immediately clear that she had a passion for what we do. I am beyond excited not just for her passion and HR expertise, but for her enthusiasm for telling the Family Promise story to the Wichita business community.”
Originally from the Kansas City area, Corinne and her husband Eric (also a KSU graduate) love raising their two small children in Wichita. When she is not cooking, baking, or enjoying KSU sports, Corinne enjoys going on adventures with her family – especially in the Flint Hills, where they love to fish and explore together.
Welcome to the FPGW Board and mission, Corinne!
