Every night, in a variety of faith congregations city wide, Wichita families in a homeless crisis are cared for in our Rotation Program.

Every night, you, our generous community makes this happen. Here’s how.

One Host Congregation uses classrooms or any individual spaces, one room per family. You set up the rooms with cots, lamps, rugs, and homelike touches. Host and Support Congregations also provide meals, games, driving, overnight volunteers, and friendship along the way.

Guest families sleep in the same building every night for the whole week. On Sundays, they move to the next Host Congregation.

Each congregation does this four times per year.

The Day House is the central, consistent daytime hub. Families return each morning to shower, work on their goals with a case manager, and depart for work and school. It’s an address to use too.

In the SECOND Rotation, the same thing happens in a SECOND SET of congregations. All families return to the same Day House.

As you can imagine, every day the staff, volunteer coordinators, and numerous community members work through all the logistics to make this happen. It is one giant family!

And it meets such a great need. THANK YOU for your partnership in this work, and for sharing us with people you know.
