Dear Friends,
The holiday season for many means celebrations with family and friends. Gathering together to enjoy and share memories, food and exchange gifts. Unfortunately not everyone has a home to gather in or a support network to celebrate with. For the past three years Family Promise of Greater Wichita has been working to give more families a reason to celebrate!
There are so many things to celebrate since Family Promise of Greater Wichita opened its doors! We are now hosting TWO ROTATIONS of families and the wonderful addition of the new day house has helped continue to support this additional capacity! We celebrate together serving over 57 families on their path out of homelessness, involving 47 local congregations, the engagement of over 2,000 volunteers, the over 30,486 nutritious meals served and 10,112 bed nights of shelter and counting!
Join us now to continue the celebration! The next BIG GOAL is for all graduates of our program to continue to thrive by receiving ongoing supportive services through the launch of our new Stabilization Program next year. Your gift of $25, $100, $5000 or anything in between will help continue the celebration!
