Volunteer

Our volunteer network is one of the most essential parts of the Family Promise model. Learn more about the wide variety of volunteer opportunities we have and find your place in the Family Promise network to help us serve more families and children in the Wichita area!

Get trained:

The first step to volunteering with Family Promise of Greater Wichita is to get trained!

Whether you are a continuing or new volunteer, we are so thankful to have you as part of the Family Promise team. Please complete each of the following steps for volunteering:

1. Complete the FPGW Volunteer Information Form (please complete even if you have done so previously to ensure that our records are accurate).

2. Complete online training modules 101 & 102 (available through the link below). These modules are required for volunteers working directly with families, although we believe that they are valuable to all volunteers. You will receive notifications when additional trainings become available. Coassemble Volunteer Training Enrollment Link

3. If you are volunteering with one of FPGW’s partner congregations, please contact your Volunteer Coordinator for next steps and opportunities to serve. If you are interested in volunteering at the Day House, with Pet Promise, or on special projects, please contact Family Promise (office@familypromisewichita.org) for next steps.
