Host a party or event with a purpose!

YOU can make a difference for homeless children and families by creating a fun event where you or your group raise funds and spread the word about the important mission of Family Promise.

Here are some ideas:

– Arrange a Houses for Change craft project at a Vacation Bible School or Kids’ Club. http://familypromise.org/programs/houses-for-change/.

MLK-Day

– Coordinate a bake sale or pie auction.

– Host a fancy dinner party or a BBQ with a few (or a lot of) friends, and sell ticket or create a contest/game during the dinner to raise funds.

– Ask your church or civic club to donate the proceeds of an annual event that rotates charity recipients.

– Host a garage sale.

– Create a scavenger hunt or game and get sponsors for various segments.

– Have a signup drive/contest for Club316, our individual giving program.

– Ask for sponsors if you volunteer at workdays in our day center (dates TBD) — take pledges to donate an hourly “wage” to Family Promise for every hour you work.

– Use your unique talents to dream up something else! There are infinite possibilities.

For any event, please contact us if we can send a speaker, video, or brochures. The BEST thing you can do is keep talking to your friends about this great program.

Funds can be designated for specific needs: please see our current Needs List.

Family Promise of Greater Wichita is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, so all donations are tax-deductible.
