Rental Assistance Overview

Family Promise of Greater Wichita’s Rental Assistance Program was established in 2020 to help families avoid eviction and homelessness, reduce financial strain, and build strong landlord relationships and tenancy practices.

As a preventative measure, this program is part of our broader mission to end homelessness for families with minor children. Family Promise will assist with rent payments, security deposits, and financial support for families at risk of eviction. By ensuring timely payments, the program helps families avoid increased fees, eviction notices, and potential disruptions in their housing stability.
