Family Promise is thrilled to spotlight Christina Beaird, who joined FPGW’S Board of Directors this year and serves as Communications Chair for the Development Team.

“Christina has been a part of the Family Promise Community for several years and we are excited to have her marketing and communication expertise on the board. Telling the Family Promise story is a critical part of our mission and we are thankful Christina is on our board supporting this crucial function” – Connor Cross, FPGW Board President

Christina is the Chief Marketing Officer at Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC), where her skills in communication, relationship building, and problem-solving shine. With a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design and a Master’s in Business Administration, Christina enjoys her role at PEC, which allows her to blend creative work with adding real business value.

As a member of the Family Promise Board, Christina brings her expertise to both everyday challenges and strategic discussions about the future of our growing organization. Her contributions are clear, as is the path that led her here.

After relocating to Wichita from the Kansas City area for her role at PEC, Christina found herself in a new chapter of life. Having recently completed her MBA, she had more time to pursue opportunities outside of work. Previously, she had been deeply involved with professional organizations like the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) in Kansas City, where she served as President.

While still passionate about supporting other marketing professionals, Christina felt ready to serve a nonprofit making a direct impact in the community. Her desire to give back to Wichita led her to Family Promise.

Already familiar with FPGW through her church, Pathway, Christina quickly felt connected to the Family Promise mission after meeting with staff and board members. She eagerly joined the team, hoping to help raise awareness about the invisible crisis of family homelessness in our community.

“I come downtown every day, and you see homelessness every day, but you don’t see the kids. It really is the hidden problem,” she shared.

Christina and her family have enjoyed settling into the Wichita community over the past few years. They love spending time together, especially at local attractions like Botanica’s Illuminations and Wild Lights at the Sedgwick County Zoo.

Thank you, Christina, for your dedication to Family Promise and our community!
