Join us to learn about the progress in our program this past year and new possibilities for 2019!!
We will meet Tuesday, April 23 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 402 N. Topeka. 6-7:30pm. You can share the Facebook event here.
What is a shareholder? Isn’t this organization a nonprofit?
YES. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit. A shareholder is a symbolic term for everyone who contributes to and cares about Family Promise of Greater Wichita. So it’s YOU!
Everyone involved in Family Promise in any way is invited to celebrate another year of partnering with families for miraculous results.
Members of the public are also welcome to attend to learn more about Family Promise.
It’s very important that we stay in touch with each person who contributes time, supplies, funding, partnerships, opportunities, and more to this effort to empower families. We hold these meetings annually to update this community-wide team and dream for the future.
YOU are invited! Board, staff, coordinators & congregational volunteers, day house volunteers, donors, graduates, community advocates.
What you can expect
Here is the basic plan for the meeting.
- Eat a light dinner from a generous donor (to be announced).
- Celebrate the successful launch of our Second Rotation
- Celebrate a year of helping families, by the numbers and with personal stories
- Meet our new Case Manager and VISTA Volunteer
- Financial updates for 2018
