Recapping the 2025 Star Gala
Last month, 300 guests gathered for our annual Family Promise Star Gala, and what an extraordinary evening it was! Together, our community helped raise over $165,000 in support of families experiencing housing insecurity.
It was a night filled with hope, generosity, and meaningful celebration — all anchored in the belief that every child deserves a home. The energy in the room was powerful, and every person there played a part in helping move our mission forward.

Celebrating a Milestone Moment
This year’s gala was especially significant as it marked not only the 9th anniversary of Family Promise of Greater Wichita, but also saw the official public launch of the Keeping Our Promise Comprehensive Campaign — a moment made possible by the dedication and leadership of our Board of Directors and Campaign Committee. Their commitment has helped bring us to this exciting place in our organization’s growth, vision, and service to families.
We were also grateful to have Jeff Herndon as our returning Master of Ceremonies for the evening, whose warmth, presence, and genuine enthusiasm helped guide guests through a memorable night.
